Jury Service

Does anyone have experience of Jury Service as a teacher?

My primary question is: do we get paid? The answer (standard P + C in Englandandwales) seems to be that it depends, but any further insight would be helpful.

When I did jury service. I got full pay but claimed the jury pay and work just paid the difference. I think they used the rest to pay for cover?

Yes, you do get paid.

It depends on the individual school's policy. So do check.
