Really? Had it in my head that part of TES had gone - didn't there used to be seminars and all sorts?

The forums died massively a few years ago. Lots of posters came over here, others went to twitter.

I remember the forums dying! I was last job hunting in 2011 and you couldn't ask any advice on jobs without getting the regurgitated stuff from there - I doubt it's changed, then.

The forums died when Primary in particular disintegrated into students bumping threads from like 497BC asking if they could possibly have all the resources and lesson plans for anything and everything.

That and "I'll take you to Mrs Cole" season.

Ah, it was a cracking community back in the day. I found much support there during my PGCE and into my NQT. Really lovely folk. Sad it's gone to shit really.
