I’m 3 weeks away from my due date. I have a basic idea of what I will be taking home on mat leave at what point but I wondered if anyone wouldn’t mind sharing with me what they got take home pay wise. I am currently 0.8 M6 with tlr 2b. Thanks for any help.

It really depends on the package your LEA provides. You should have received a letter detailing this. I have had 2 babies working in different schools and the packages were different (one was a London school though). I think you can also ask for your pay to be spread out over your leave so you don't get any sudden reductions in pay.

Thanks for your reply. I’ve had nothing other than the standard 100% for 4 weeks 90% for two weeks etc. I asked for a breakdown and have so far got nowhere.

You might have to work it out yourself sadly. I found it useful to mark on my calendar when each week had passed. Good luck with your baby and mat leave!
