@SabineSchmetterling Yes, 7 days out of 10, it's every lesson with no frees. Aaaargh!

That’s really tough. Our school gives classroom teachers 5/30 every week. A few years ago quite a lot of people, in reality, had maybe 6 or 7. Now those extra periods get filled up with cover or study supervision. I hope we wouldn’t cut that time back further but budgets are just so tight at the minute.

My DCs' school (primary) told us who of existing staff was having which class a few weeks ago. The last week of term is transition week and they are all officially in their new year for the week. Some may have an existing teacher rather than a new appointment.
Unfortunately DS is supposed to be moving school and he needs to have the new school (which has agreed to a taster week in principle) named on his EHCP and the SEND team at the LEA took 6 weeks to write nothing after a meeting and then to disagree we'd had the meeting to agree wording.
So we aren't hopeful.

We still don't know - London primary.
But I am reminded of a time when DS2 was in sixth form and still hadn't got a timetable at the beginning of Oc tober! Was talking about by his with him recently and he says the timetabler left suddenly, and no one stepped up. New head was brought in , school put in special measures. I didn't actually believe D'S at the time, until a meeting with the new head clarified it.
