Year 6 present for whole school

Hi, I was hoping to get some ideas on a leavers present for the whole school that parents can contribute to. Last year the parents gave a 'friendship bench', to sit in the playground, which was gratefully received. I thought that I'd come directly to the teachers on ideas for the whole school - thank you!

Books for the Library?
Last year, we received a lovely hamper with books for every year group.

We got a buddy bench when my ds left primary school. Every year something is bought. Large outdoor clock for the playground?

Another idea - a big 'welcome to xxx school' mat for the entrance hall.

At a school I was at they gave mini beast ‘houses’ which were wooden boxes for the playground which would encourage wildlife.

Thank you Smile I'll feed this back to other parents. Someone also mentioned one of those notice boards with the school's name on for the playground? To remind parents re dates etc?

One year the Year 6 parents at the school I used to work at gave a nest box with a camera - all the children loved watching the birds hatching & rearing their chicks.
