An amazing TA

Hope this is the right place to post this... I need some gift inspiration. My sons TA is quite simply fantastic and I'm keen to show my appreciation with a lovely end of year gift, what could I get her that she's not going to be inundated with? I'm thinking booze (and yes, she drinks).

I like to get something that is something that they would like but also something that my child can have a part in choosing. I want my child to be excited taking it into school and giving it to the person who has helped them out.

A plant is a good one as the dc can pick it out from the garden centre.

I was a TA for a long time and the most memorable gift I got was a tin that had been decorated by the child with a planted bean. The creativity was lovely and watching it grow made me think of the child and smile. Anything personal or created by the child is special.

A letter to SLT saying how wonderful the TA has been and why
