Help please, interview next week.

So I'm currently a secondary geography NQT. I'm looking for a new school due to my commute which is 2.5 hrs a day. I have an interview next week at a closer school.... Interview lesson is 30 mins, mid ability yr 7 and lesson can be on any topic........ I'm struggling with ideas so help me with ideas please!!!

Think of any lessons that you’ve taught with that year group that went down well? Seems a bit odd that they let you pick, what if they’ve already done it?

Kids love researching their own environment

How about a local geography lesson? Look at maps of the area and pin point key sections? Amazing how many kids don’t understand this
