Collective worship

What is the policy about collective in your schools (if there is one) if you do not work in a faith school? I teach in Wales where collective worship is specifically Christian (only) and should take place every day, but as an aetheist I am getting increasingly uncomfortable with this. Am I right in thinking this doesn’t happen in England and Scotland?

In England, schools with a formal faith designation are required to arrange worship in accordance with their trust deed or, if they have no trust deed, in line with the practices of their designated faith. For schools without a formal faith designation, the majority of the acts of worship should be "of a broadly Christian character". What this "majority" is can vary considerably!
