Exam marking

I was just wondering if anyone on here had any recommendations for companies to mark for throughout the year. I'm secondary English trained but have taught wider key skills and a couple of other subjects to ks4 level.
I currently teach KS2.

I seem to have 'missed the boat' for this year's SATs marking!

I've heard of people marking for short courses that have exams year round, but Google isn't being very forthcoming.

If anyone does this I'd really appreciate links/ company names.

Have you checked on the Pearson website? Pearson apparently mark Sats. Edexcel are part of the Pearson group and set GCSEs, IGCSEs and A levels too.

If you are not currently teaching GCSE or a current marker you won't generally get marking in that subject.

Contracts usually come out in January so you need to be ready to apply way before now.

People who mark year round are usually very experienced markers- I've been marking KS2 and 4 for around 7 years, always had the top grades in my feedback and I don't get work apart from in the summer as it goes to those more experienced than me.
