Told I am doing an intervention

I don't actually mind doing it. It's after school 3-4 but I am already doing one plus staff training.

Surely I should have been asked, not told!

What is your role? Are you a teacher? In which case I'd ask to see a directed time calendar and make sure this intervention doesn't take you over 1265 hours. If you're a TA, I'd ask if you are being paid for the time or can take time in lieu.

Either way, yes, you should be asked rather than told as it's outside of the school day.

Teacher, yes. I am positive I am way over my directed hours but querying it is fast track to capability. I'm just annoyed tbh.

That's wrong. They can't tell you unless you are expected to stay on site till 4pm within your directed hours.

They can't put you on capability for making sure they are working within the directed time contract.
