Interview

Hi everyone,

I have a job interview for a class teacher & phase leader role in a couple of weeks, and while I'm looking forward to the day I'm dreading the interview! My mind always seem to go completely blank during these sorts of things and I end up talking nonsense.

It's been so long since I last was interviewed (been in my current role 6 years) I'm struggling to think of what sort of questions might come up, besides the obvious.

Could anyone share their experiences with interviews/questions to give me a chance to prep some answers?

Thanks!

Any wisdom from the evening Mumsnetters?

I was asked in my most recent interview, what would you do if you knew that the head was looking at SATS papers before 'the day' and passing on information about the tests to the Y6 and Y2 teachers.

It was testing whether or not I would 'whistleblow'.

Brush up on Safeguarding and PREVENT.

Good luck. I've got an interview next week too. 👍

I hadn't thought about whistleblowing questions. It's an interesting one. Will definitely prep some answers.

Thanks!
