RC Church Approval

Hello, I’m going to apply for a job in a Catholic primary school and part of this application means I have to apply for church approval. Has anyone done this before and can point me in the right direction of the sort of things I can include about my character and beliefs? I’ve had a look on the website but didn’t find it too helpful on the sort of things I could write about. This is in Scotland. I’m not Catholic. Thank you.

If you're not a Catholic, how can you get church approval? Confused

You can get approval by showing you are an upstanding member of the community, etc. I’ll be below other people who are Catholic when it comes to an interview but it is possible to get approval even if you are not Catholic.

There are definitely non catholics working in catholic schools - but i would think long term, if you are going after promotion you wont get it in this school.

I worked at an independent RC school which I loved it. I didn't have to show anything official just demonstrate an understanding of the ethos at interview.
