Maternity Pay

Hi :) Hoping someone can help, i am due to transfer from one government department to another, i am due to more to DWP, in my current job i am entitled to 6 months paid Mat leave, Would anyone know if my Mat terms will transfer over with me or would i lose all entitlement

Your maternity rights should transfer with you if you're moving within the civil service. Worth checking with a HR person or union rep though.

Fab thank you. I have tried to contact DWP HR but I am not having any luck at the moment! X

I'm assuming it's on the same contract? If not, it could be different with the new post.
