I've increasingly noticed primaries are lumping art and dt as one subject. One taught one half term, the other the second, or actually just calling it art and dt.' My child's school is doing this I think and I'm not impressed.
I'm on maternity leave but just noticed my own school used to do the half term thing for history and geography as well as art and dt, have now increased the history and geog topics to both, every half term. But not the art and dt.
Surely you're supposed to allocate equal time?
I'm very sad at how the arts are becoming devalued. Bloody Gove.
