I'm currently looking for a new teaching job. I've been at my school for 9 and a half years and only have the headteacher of this school that I can put down as one of my references. Who could I ask for my second reference? I have another that is non-teaching but I think it would look better to have another education/school one. Could I ask another member of the teaching staff e.g from the SLT? Or even a previous headteacher? My current one has only been in position for 1 and a half years. Please help I'm a bit unsure!
