Grievance procedures

Just wondered if any class teacher had ever brought a grievance against management? Union are involved and I definitely have a case but was it worth it? Was there any actual satisfaction at the end or were you just left frustrated and even more hurt? I am in the position that I will have to request a transfer now anyway because I can’t trust them which breaks my heart. But was the stress of the grievance procedure worth the outcome?

Nope. Not worth it. Horrible process for all involved. Unions actively discourage it, generally. Their favourite expression is 'there are no winners' .

Nope...i suffered clear discrimination and bullying. Union were supportive but I took the easy way out and moved schools.
