I started this course last September. I'm doing 2 days a week in college and one day a week in nursery. In June, I will be a qualified nursery nurse as that's what I want to do. But I won't have enough "classroom" experience once I start looking for a job, will another day at volunteering in the same nursery be OK or do I need to volunteer full time?? As it's all about qualifications and experience.

Thank you

Level 2 is the equivalent of higher grades at GCSE (old A to C). I know my DD private nursery don’t employ anyone with less than level 3. I am not sure how far a leve 2 course will get you.

Agree with the above, I think most are looking for Level 3 for a school but perhaps not for a private nursery. When I was a nursery nurse I was employed as a level 2 in a private nursery provided I completed my Level 3. I wasn't considered qualified until then.

You’ll need a level 3 - could you get an apprenticeship position?

You’ll need a Level 3, 2 are GCSE levels.
