I'm a Cover Supervisor. The behaviour in the school that I'm in is hideous, genuinely awful and appears to be getting worse. SLT are appalling and seem completely unable or unwilling to deal with it in a serious way, staff are just constantly firefighting. The rest of the staff are lovely though which is what keeps me there.
My friend has applied for, and been interviewed for a job (cover too) at my school and has messaged me to say that she understands from the Head that there are few behaviour issues at the school - which she likes the sound of because she left her last post because of similar issues.
She is not working and needs a job. What the hell so I tell her? Do I tell her nothing or tell her that staff are completely unsupported and every day there's someone in tears in the staff room?
