Just wondering, does your school have a fake ofsted and if so how often and completed by who?

We have one a year, completed by other people from our academy trust, all supposed to be 'just do what you usually do', but actually ends up being a lot of pressure.

Just curious as to how many schools do this.

My old school did, through an external organisation. Oh the stress!

Yes we do and we get ‘ Just do what you normally do’ as well 🙄

No. They were scrapped around the time Ofsted told schools not to do them.

Stressful, create workload, do not replicate Ofsted and serve to line the pockets of consultants.

We've had one, way more negative and stressful than OFSTED. None since then but we're due next year so we'll see.

Yep, we have one a year, pretty much like you describe OP
Nice extra layer of stress all round

We had one in October- it was ok but agree added to stress levels.

We have one each year, they tend to pick up on the same things as ofsted so was actually helpful. At my old school they helped new senior leaders prep answers to typical ofsted questions

LEA which in practice means the head’s and deputy head’s spouses. It was referred to as bring your spouse to work day and it was no surprise to the staff that they did not agree with any of the concerns the staff were raising.
