Meeeee! 4 weeks tomorrow for me though Hmm

CraftyGin · 23/11/2018 19:45

Yes! 2 weeks, 4.5 days. And the last week isn’t really teaching.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 23/11/2018 19:46

Four weeks here. And yes, I'm counting.

SunflowerJo08 · 23/11/2018 23:00

Four weeks here. First full term in full time education work.

Dying on my arse!

Rosieposy4 · 23/11/2018 23:06

4 weeks, beyond knackered already. Twenty gazillion tests and mocks to be sat and marked before then.

Ofthread · 24/11/2018 10:54

Four bloody weeks here too.

GrammarTeacher · 24/11/2018 11:54

3 1/2 weeks for me. But it's my first day back from mat leave on Tuesday. Getting the starting back at school butterflies.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 24/11/2018 13:31

SO many mock exam papers to mark. HOW did we get ourselves into this mess?

bluechameleon · 24/11/2018 13:54

It's 4 weeks for my school, but we finish on Wednesday 19th and I only work Thursdays and Fridays so my last day will be the 14th! I only went back from maternity leave this week though so I'm not feeling all worn down and overwhelmed like normal for this time of year.

housequery · 24/11/2018 18:33

14 more school days Grin but we're back really early - 3rd jan

OMG, 3rd Jan, what the hell is wrong with people? Can you tell I'm new (to FE) and the students are moaning big time about breaking up on 21 December. I expect their attendance will be well down during that week and pull down the whole shebang for the execs.

PumpkinPie2016 · 30/11/2018 21:59

I'm counting!

3 weeks to go! We finish on 21st Dec and go back the 7th Jan. Similar to last year and I actually quite liked having more time after. It meant that I could have time with DS without it all being hectic days of hosting and visiting.

I can't wait for the holidays - lots to do before then but I am looking forward to Christmas.

CraftyGin · 30/11/2018 22:00

1 week, 4.5 days.

The last week is so disrupted, there is only one real week.

housequery · 01/12/2018 06:33

9 school days left then 3 weeks off Grin

They've had a whiteboard countdown running in my kids' school staffroom since about the first day in September! It's been diligently updated.

GrammarTeacher · 05/12/2018 08:11

We break up on the 19th. Still feels quite pressured as have 2 year 11 mocks to do before then and I only went back on the 27th November! Still a bit shell shocked and I've only done 4 days teaching (part time).

PumpkinPie2016 · 05/12/2018 18:46

11.5 days left now and I feel like I have a mountain to climb before then!

We have observations next week Confused, the kids are now getting giddy and already asking if they can watch videos (er, No!). I have Jan assessments to write so that they can be printed before the break, I'm on a course on Tuesday and have a to do list that isn't shrinking.

Plus I am mad busy at home - still not put the tree up (and DS is asking!), DS has a show coming up so I am sorting costumes/running round to rehearsals plus swimming lessons each week. I haven't finished shopping yet, the house is a tip and we are hosting!

I need to learn time dilation so that I can have more hours in the day [santa]

The 21st can't come soon enough!
