It's a temporary contract on top of MY AHT role, working with the DfE regarding a particular area of education that interests me greatly. I was notified yesterday I had been successful...and at the bottom of the email it informed me the key briefing day was 200 miles away on Monday!
I am delivering INSET on Monday so cannot attend...pretty sure I won't be able to accept the role now. (It was available for teachers and non teachers so perhaps a non-teacher might have more flexibility.)
How annoying. Currently waiting for someone to give me a ring about it. :(
