Just wondering, if this pay rise from the DfE is going to happen, when will we see it in our pay cheques? Is it definitely happening?

From my understanding it’s only happening if your school can fund the first 1% (so sometime never then!)
Are you an academy/free school/private school? There is no guarantee you’ll ever see it if you are

We’re an LEA school but I we’ve the money to fund the first 1% given there have been redundancies recently. That’s a bit sneaky isn’t it! Thanks for the info

This suggests that those who have gone through the threshold will only get 1.5/2% rise which is less than inflation as well.
