Learning Support Assistant

Apologies if this is not the appropriate group, but I have an interview next week for a learning support assistant in a local senior school. I do currently do some work in the school, and I also work as a cover supervisor in another senior school but I'm after something more permanent and reliable as my work currently is flexible and seasonal.

I have no direct experience although I volunteer a fair bit at my sons' school. Previously I spent over 15 years in industry before going on maternity leave with my youngest son nearly 5 years ago.

Can anyone give me any pointers about how the interview may go, and also on the day to day job?

Many thanks!
