What to wear to prom?

As a Y11 form tutor I have to be at prom and dress appropriately.
I will not wear a floor length dress! The style advice I have been given by my form is to wear a nice suit with heels.
I now need a cheap sparkly top to wear with my suit.

I would like a silky sleeveless blouse/top in white or gold (not yellow). Any ideas???

I have a tea length dress from Chi chi London. It’s very modest but I can still move in it (although realistically the need for movement is more to deal with drunk kids than for dancing!)
I’m wearing wedges for the same reason!

Sorry pressed send too soon!
Go onto ASOS’s occasion wear - they had some beautiful tops meant to be worn as separates, but they’re stunning on their own.
Quite a few of my girls are wearing suits this year. One so even wearing tails!

Thank you! ASOS is never on my radar.
