Gifts for Student Teacher

Hi all
Please help - I need some inspiration! I need a gift idea for a young male student teacher please. Can’t have food or alcohol because of allergies

I’ve not got any further than a really nice planner... when I left my placement my mentor gave me a make up bag filled with stationary but I don’t feel like he’d use it!

If primary, get the children to write notes, and create a book alongside their photos as a momento.

For either, is there anything that everyone 'has their own of' in your school, or which is never available when you need it (mug, staple gun [this would be the one for our school ... a good one is prized above rubies], box / canvas bag to carry books for marking in, set of pens in the bizarre colours required by marking policy, display border in anything other than pink...) that you could get one of, marked with his name?
