Other side of the rope

So, I've escaped my own school and am on the parent's side of the rope for sports day. I've just heard 2 parents really criticising the head and the secretary in quite loud voices. The things they were saying about them all sounded to me like they were acting appropriately (and in line with school compliance). I didn't know the parents well enough to intervene and give them the benefit of my wisdom and experience (or to tear a strip off them and tell them not to be so ridiculous Grin)
Would you give the head, who I really like and respect, the heads up that this parent was being so openly awful about them???

No. Why would you want to pass on hurtful words?

No. Assuming this isn't the school you work at, I'm guessing you don't know the head that well. I'd use it as a reminder of how some parents think/feel/behave though - even if the school has good reasons to do as it does, that doesn't mean people understand or agree.

Delightful isn't it? Most parents could not teach but think they could do a better job. Glad this is the last term of the school run for me Grin
