I have recently started working in a state school and am automatically enrolled in pension scheme. Is it possible to pay more into it, or is it related to your earnings?

Yes you can. If you are a teacher you will be in the Teachers’ Pension Scheme - google Teachers’ Pensions and get in touch with them. If you are non teaching staff you will be in the Local Government Pension Scheme run by your local council. Look on www.lgpsmember.org and you can get contact details and more info there.

Brilliant, that's really helpful. Thank you.
