Good gift ideas for mentor

I am coming to the end of my PGCE and I'm looking at picking up some gifts to say thank you to my mentor and the class teachers that supported me. Anyone got any good ideas or something they would have appreciated?

(I don't drink as it doesn't agree with me so I'm totally clueless about giving alcohol, happy to but it feels odd when I know nothing about it, if you see what I mean?)

Generally cakes, biscuits or chocolates for the office are well received as a departmental present.

For your mentor, maybe a nice plant or flowers? A card with a sincere message of thanks is more important.

Some choccies or biscuits for the staff room, and a card for the mentor...they will be so thrilled to hear that you've appreciated their help and support, that no physical gift would be needed...I promise!

Thank you, I do want them to know how ,icy I have appreciated their support (which has been immense). Cake and biscuits it is then.
