Anyone else waiting to find out if they've been shortlisted for interview?

The wait is killing me! Application deadline was midnight on Sunday. Interviews are on May 22nd.

Found out 2 days after the deadline. How'd you get on? Interview?

Still not heard. I'm feeling less hopeful...

That's a big gap between deadline an interview, they could well still be shortlisting.

I’ve applied for 3 jobs. Closing dates and interview dates are in reverse order to my preferences! So the job that I like the most is the last one!

Debating the moral issue of accepting one of the other posts (if offered) only to decline it a week later should I get the preferred post!

It’s so stressful! And unlike any other employment field - although they don’t have tight deadlines to recruit by I suppose.

I'm on the other side of things- had an interview almost 3 weeks ago. No sign of an offer or rejection. 3 days notice given for the interview itself but apparently this is reasonable

@rainbowfudgee I know I'm getting pissed off. Rumour is there's not going to be a decision made any time soon.

How’s it all going?
I had an interview today, the teaching part went well I think but not so sure about the panel interview.

They have more candidates tomorrow so I have to wait to hear the outcome. I’m finding that more challenging than the interview!
