Summer clothes for school

I'm in desperate need of an update for my summer wardrobe for school.

Anyone have some inspiration of what they wear when it's warmer in school. I'm in primary so needs to be practical!

I normally wear a dress and tights but looking for some nice tops too!

3/4 trousers and a light blouse
Leggings and tunics or long blouses

Classrooms in summer are always stupidly warm.

I've recently bought some culottes. They're fab. Cool, comfortable and practical.

Any recommendations of where to look for tops? I've been looking but can't find any nice loose ones!

Wide-leg linen trousers are my favourite. Marks and Spencer do some with an elasticated waist (nice and comfy!) for about £20.
For suitable tops I like Next and Tesco.

Tapererd leg patterned cotton trousers from Matalan, Asda or Tesco. Tops from same places, but stick to plain colours if pairing with patterned trousers.

Primark does some tops a bit like oversized t shirts. Boat neck, cuffed, shirt sleeves. Not too big tho. V cool as in lightweight viscose. Good with slimmer fitting trousers. Quite a few colours.

Coloured chinos in m&s look good. They have some cooler viscose and linen ones too. Some nice patterns.

I’m secondary - I wear my usual dresses but ditch the tights. Or chinos and patterned/plain tops and those nice chunky sandals with a blocky heel.

We're in a hot country, no aircon. We are not allowed cropped trousers but I wear ankle grazers with a loose, short sleeved top, or a cap sleeved dress. Everything made of cotton. We are also not allowed sandals so I wear my usual plain black Skechers Go Walks, (I have plantar fascitis) with invisible socks inside. It doesn't look that chic! If I'm going anywhere after work, I will change into sandals.

I tend to buy tops from Warehouse, Oliver Bonas, Mango.. and I wear with 7/8 trousers and slip on shoes

Where do you buy your cropped/ slim fit trousers from? I like the look but tried some on recently in Next and they were hideous!

I wear 3/4 wide leg trousers (New Look, recently), sandals and a sleeved top (all fairly old though).
