I’m 58 in Sept and working 2 days a week. DH tells me that I could, if I choose and the school agrees, draw down my pension early but then continue to work, as long as the school gives me a new contract and I have at least one day’s break in service. Anyone have knowledge about this? A quick Google hasn’t really helped!

Have you looked at the LGPS members site?

No, but will do, thanks

I believe you can do this, yes, as I have two friends, one of whom has done it and the other is about to.

FIL did this a couple of years ago.
