So at the moment we usually get our pay award in November having. completed the appraisal cycle in October. But now with all the confusion with the Department for Education am I right in thinking that we might not get our pay award until 2019? Now please tell me that's wrong!!

What confusion? As far as I know pay stuff all went through as normal at my school?

Does anyone have anymore info?

Is that not about how much the pay scales will be? That should not have an impact on if you should be moving up a pay scale.

Oh right, you mean for the next academic year. No idea! Should be back-dated though if late.

Namechange16 · 09/02/2018 15:37

I know it will be back dated but I want it in November not Jan or Feb 2019 ideally.

It’ll probably be worth about 20p anyway, if that’s any consolation.

Oh ok, so it has no bearing on individual school appraisal process?

It won't affect you moving from m4 to m5 for example as a result of appraisal . This debate is if m5 is staying the same, up by 0.5%,1%... Ect.
