We don't break up until Feb 16th! But then I will be skiing with some fab kids and great colleagues 😊

Despite it having been only 5 weeks since Christmas I am absolutely exhausted! So much has been done in that time!

When do you all finish for Easter then? We finish 28th march back on 18th April for inset, kids 19th.

Last day today but it's a non uniform day so the kids will think they don't need to do anything!

3pm finish? Woah. What year is that? I'm 3.25 now for Year 2 but it was 4pm at my last primary.

Locked that's insane! The half terms in Autumn are long enough that I barely made it through them as it is. Surely everyone is just a total zombie well before Christmas? Did you have a 16 week term??

First day of term was 1st September and the last was 20th December. I didn't count the weeks as I was too sleepy.

This week the kids are tetchy and we have to do CPD in our free periods and after school as all the providers (like head teachers of other schools) are on half term. This is a "treat" for us while Y13 do their mocks...which we have to invigilate. And Y13 students are obviously turning up at lunchtimes etc. with questions or past papers to get feedback on before their mock. I just smile and swan through it all with endless coffees; I don't know any other way!
