I'm a career changer so have a previous career, work experience. I've seeen a job I would love to apply for, which blends my previous work with education. I know we are supposed to be allowed time off for interviews, but what about when it isn't actually a classroom teaching job and would involve leaving the PGCE half way through, or deferring/ moving onto a part-time route/ some other option if they can offer me one? I'm not interested in lying/taking a sickie, but wondered if anyone had thoughts on how this will go down. It is a job within the education sector.
