Has anyone else had a PM to join this site?

You can leave anonymous reviews of your school but you have to sign in with a school email address Hmm

You had a PM on Mumsnet about joining?

TheSnowFairy · 07/10/2017 16:36

Yep.

'I saw your post on the mumsnet staffroom... It's called secret staffroom - www.secretstaffroom . com - and it lets teachers post anonymous reviews of their school.'

Sounds a bit dodgy to me

PotteringAlong · 07/10/2017 17:00

I've just checked my inbox - I've had a pm too.

Greenandcabbagelooking · 07/10/2017 17:02

And me!

PurpleDaisies · 07/10/2017 17:03

I'm feeling a bit left out!

thecatfromjapan · 07/10/2017 17:04

Not me! Grin

thecatfromjapan · 07/10/2017 17:04

Honestly ... it's a bit of a reminder that all sorts of people read MN, isn't it?

DonkeyOaty · 07/10/2017 17:25

Innit though, cat!

TheSnowFairy · 07/10/2017 17:30

donkey and cat - have pm'd you both Wink

DonkeyOaty · 07/10/2017 17:31

Thank you!

elephantoverthehill · 07/10/2017 17:32

I've had that pm too. I mean if you wanted to review your school on line it would have to be positive, otherwise it could be a sackable offence. If want to read positive reviews of schools just go their websites, Weird.

noblegiraffe · 07/10/2017 17:35

Oh now I feel less special!

MrsKnightley · 07/10/2017 17:42

I got one too. Not very secret when my school is so small. Anyone had a look?

Bobbiepin · 07/10/2017 17:47

I got one too. Would never be so stupid as to slag my employer off online especially if my school and I am identifiable. Stupid really.... DM trap?

TheSnowFairy · 07/10/2017 18:01

You need to log in with either school email address or school ID so no, I haven't!

This sounds like the sort of thing a massively disgruntled employee who didn't GAF would do - not so great for anyone else...

OP posts:
MsAwesomeDragon · 07/10/2017 18:04

Yes, I got that pm too. Not going to happen. Why would anyone publicly rate their own school?

DonkeyOaty · 07/10/2017 18:06

Quite.

We'll see what HQ makes of this in due course.

thecatfromjapan · 07/10/2017 18:25

It's American, too. Odd.

VeryPunny · 07/10/2017 18:35

Wasn’t there a thread recently along the lines of teacher roll call? It’s pretty clearly a site trying to get views/clicks/users or whatever for advertising. But yes, a reminder that no matter how innocently a thread may have been started, you never know who’s reading.

MaisyPops · 07/10/2017 18:37

Sounds very dodgy to me.
I don't agree with sites like that or ratemyteacher etx.

All a bit 'somewhere cowardly pissed off people go to anonymously slag people off with no repercussions'

KittyVonCatsington · 07/10/2017 18:38

I've had a PM. Not happy about it.

TheSnowFairy · 07/10/2017 18:39

cat you can choose UK but you would be none the wiser Grin

OP posts:
TheSnowFairy · 07/10/2017 18:41

noble it's your fault - I answered in your thread as to what we did in a school

Aw crap I do hope that it wasn't my teacher register thread that they got the usernames from. Angry
