September blues

Just want some hand holding and some reassurance that I'm not alone in this! Started at new school in September (am recently qualified) and school/staff/department/students etc. are lovely. Things are going well and behaviour is good but I am just SO EXHAUSTED.
Know this is particularly inevitable at this time of year (always get like this) but it would be so reassuring to know that I'm not alone.

Yep. It's round about this time every year that I check the resignation dates and decide I quite like the idea of being a SAHM. So far, I've always changed my mind by 31st October, so I'm hopeful I will this year too!

Ditto I am totally knackered. Been going to bed by 8pm! Def possible to be exhausted but still enjoy it though, just try to focus on the positives.

I think Autumn term is always really hard (this is my twentieth).
New class, takes ages to get the measure of how much can be attempted in a lesson, so your planning is all out, routines, getting to know parents, lots of teething issues usually. AND you're in a new school. On top of that, the mornings are getting darker.

I thought in the shower just how that were already about a tenth of the way through the year!
