What do you wear for school and where do you shop? Last year I was in year 6 but I'm in year 1 now so my outfits will need to be slightly different!

Would love some inspiration!

Was in a continuous provision year 1 class so Matalan and supermarkets mainly. I do not dress like the lovely well turned out teachers that i see on training courses. Flats, cheap trousers and a comfortable top and cardi. Sometimes flats, dress and leggings. Practical and cheap.

George at Asda does £6 trousers which I find very handy! Black, navy and grey. I'm also keen on Matalan.

Sainsbury's is my go to

M&S.

I need to do a shop. I've put on weight too, and a Y6 girl last term said loudly to the her friends after I'd told her off that "She needs to get clothes that fit her better!" Blush

I am probably very typical in that my 'uniform' is thick leggings , slip on shoes/boots and a tunic top that isn't too low cut. In the winter it becomes leggings flat knee high boots and a long jumper.

Very boring but I work with a variety of year groups so need to be warm , comfortable and able to bend and lean.

H&M black skinny jeans with flat ankle boots with their blouses or fine knit loose jumper plus scarf/cardi as needed.

Or casual dress eg fat face or shortish cord skirt with thick tights/ leggings and calf length boots. Plus scarf/cardi again!

Another fan of the Asda £6 trouser here. Have about 10 pairs! Wash and wear and don't need ironed. Same with their patterned blouses/shirts too.

shop.alannahhill.com.au/outlet.html This is my current favourite website for clothes. I wear alot of colourful pretty dresses and skirts with boots in winter and flats in summer.

Ooh thanks! Some great ideas! I'll check them out! Hope today wasn't too painful for those that went back today! Brew

£6 black trousers from asda are fantastic
They wash really well and paint wipes off of them easily during the day.
3/4 sleeve length tops from m&s £6-£8 I bought 5 different colours and then a few scarves tonic and match.
Sketches black work shoes (look like shoes feel like trainers) ideal for y1.

Comfy stuff that I can move in and covers me, while still professional.

Zara, River Island, Topshop, Dunnes, H&M, Forever 21, New Look are my hunting grounds!

I like to wear either a tight dress with a scarf, a jumper and jeans, or trousers and a shirt. Generally I go for soft fabric shirts, rather than stiff starchy blouses. Shoes are usually flat ballet pumps or low heeled boots.

I've had great luck with forever 21 dresses and Zara trousers!
