I've been pretty good, Ivebeen downsized in office space and new bosses like a clean desk policy. But I have got some of those lovely pastel highlighters and there's a trip to Tiger looming. What bargains or not has everyone got?

I have literally just looked in my school bag and decided that, rather than clear it out, I'm having a new one. That will cheer me up next week!

I haven't chosen a diary yet either. Lots to do! to distract me from the stack of actual work I must do

Teaistheanswer · 26/08/2017 18:21

It's creeping up fast!
I love new stationery. My splurge this year is a 'Lush' journal. I got the teachers edition and it is so bright and colourful it distracted me from having to write a whole years dates in it!

clary · 26/08/2017 18:23

I've got a new Ravenclaw bag from Primark... Lots of new highlighters... Need to get a folder and stack of revision cards for each of my form too

Balfe · 26/08/2017 19:02

I have a lovely emerald green diary which I am quite besotted with. I am making a strict resolution to only write in it with nice handwriting- no scribbles and no crossing outs!

OneOfTheGrundys · 26/08/2017 19:07

Chalkola markers as my new classroom has lots of windows.
Big, pink planner with lots of pretty ribbons in. Gold notebook. Smile

Lovely ecoffee cup, scandi style. (I know it's not stationery but it's so individual it's not nickable).

Bobbins43 · 26/08/2017 19:25

Not a teacher but shamelessly place marking as I still buy new stationery in September all of the time

LockedOutOfMN · 26/08/2017 19:26

OneOfTheGrundys What's an e coffee cup?

haba · 26/08/2017 19:30

I bought some gorgeous pens- double-edged, with calligraphy wide nib one end, fine liner the other, 8 lovely colours, from paperchase. Only £8, and I've warned the children they're only for me!
I have bought tons of stationery, but it's for DD mostly [weeps] as she goes up to secondary school next week.
I am looking for a new tote bag (preferably oilcloth) for me though, as mine has had it.

Lowdoorinthewal1 · 26/08/2017 19:30

Planner/ diary links please people!!

haba · 26/08/2017 19:31

Bloody phone- double-ended pens!!!

OneOfTheGrundys · 26/08/2017 19:31

ecoff.ee/
Does that link work?

OneOfTheGrundys · 26/08/2017 19:32

I loves it. ❤️

Sundaylunchhappy · 26/08/2017 19:33

I am supply. Have a super cheesy pink tool box type contraption that I cart about with literally every item rymans have ever produced. I feel slightly embaressed in the staff room with scenes from the inbetweeners flashing through my head briefcase wanker...... however the kids think it's great.

Adore a6 lined post its, perfectly sized for jotting down lesson outcomes and lists of naughty people

PumpkinPie2016 · 26/08/2017 19:37

I have a lovely pink, personalised planner, neon post it notes and a cute desk planner Smile

I also have some new pens and highlighters Smile

I'm heading into town on Mon so will probably end up buying loads more Grin

Lowdoorinthewal1 · 26/08/2017 19:38

OK I now need an ecoffee cup. THAT is what these threads are for!! Thanks Grundy.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 26/08/2017 19:40

I also fell for the pastel highlights. Also got some nice black pens and a new packet of Fineliners, plus pink heart Post It notes and some Hema exercise books.

Jaimx86 · 26/08/2017 19:42

I've bought a rose gold pen pot and magazine file for my desk. If anything does fit into them, they're not going on my desk. I want a clear workspace!

Lowdoorinthewal1 · 26/08/2017 19:43

One acanthus ecoffee cup heading my way. Grin

BlessYourCottonSocks · 26/08/2017 19:58

Have a KikkiK planner which is ridiculously expensive - but I bought it in a sale. Have also bought a 6 hole punch and keep making myself laminated dividers, personalised notepages, to do lists etc to go in it.

Heart shaped and flower shaped Post its. Umm..new folders and wallets. New fineliners. Have ridiculous amounts of stationery actually. You can't start the year without new stuff! I find men just don't get it. I like the sound of pastel highlighters and am now Googling.

Lowdoorinthewal1 · 26/08/2017 20:06

My NQT has pastel highlighters, you Noobs! Wink Grin

OneOfTheGrundys · 26/08/2017 20:28

Ah that's a good one. I like the 'Thief' one too.
Did you go for the large size? I went medium and I'm wondering if it's the right choice. Hmm.
No lessons planned yet but room and coffee sorted. Grin

Lowdoorinthewal1 · 26/08/2017 20:59

I almost went for Theif. 14oz- there can never be enough coffee.

I feel a bit disloyal to my Contigo though!!

OneOfTheGrundys · 26/08/2017 21:06

The contigo can live on as a spare I'm sure. Brew

OhWhatFuckeryIsThisNow · 26/08/2017 23:28

I have a big diary given to me by an agency (with my name in the front in gold cos I is important(in my mind)) I only ever write in it with my koh-I-nor clutch pencil. And I spend a happy hour with it and the school calendar and index tabs in the first week.
I lug all my pencils and shite to class in a very boring muji canvas lunch bag, but I spent a week embroidering black seed heads, dandelions and grasses on it.
Bless I got mine in rymans. Cheaper than smiths, who are out of stock anyway.

I bought the Box Clever family life diary which has space for 7 family members each day. I'm going to use the seven boxes for my seven lessons instead.
It comes in a lovely mint green leather look case and is a thing of beauty!
