You can get green ink cartridges for Lamy fountain pens Smile.

www.amazon.co.uk/Staedtler-Triplus-Fineliner-Superfine-Point/dp/B0037QF8VK?tag=mumsnetforum-21 Slightly scratchy when new, but if you hold it the same way consistently (eg, printed side facing front) then it very soon wears to a smooth tip that suits you. No smudges. No leaks. Not too thick. V good value.

Schneider slider edge are lovely!

Used to agree with @BringOnTheScience but would get through at least one a week and they kept running out. Have switched instead to Pentel Energel now and they are fab and last ages.

Gave loads out to colleagues in the English department and they all loved them too and have now purchased their own.

You can get disposable fountain pens which write nicely.

We use these at my school, in red, green, blue and black (as per teacher's preference) and they work well. Easy and quick to write in for hours of marking (I teach English Smile ).

Great to read the other suggestions here too!

Now thinking of my poor weak wrist and fingers when I get back to marking after the summer holiday! Have barely written as much as a postcard in weeks. Blush
