PPA time

I'm starting a new job in September so don't have timetable yet but just wondering if the make up of my job will have an impact on PPA time. I'm 0.6 but one day I'll be doing PPA cover for others and then two days a week with a class. The school use this model so that both members of the job share are in on one day together to meet up, see parents and attend staff meeting. But I've never had a role like this so just wanted to check if I am still due 10% of PPA time for the whole 0.6 or only for the 0.4 that I'm with my class?
I don't know a great deal about the PPA cover I'll be doing except that I won't have to plan what I teach on that day, but I will be expected to mark.

You will get PPA for the 0.6 as its contact time regardless of which kids you're with.

It's NOT contact time, it's teaching time. Is it local authority or academy? The 10% statutory only applies to local authority (unless the academy have it in their contracts).

So you need to work out the teaching hours and then 10% of that. If you are expected to teach during PPA (rather than babysit with covert) then you should get PPA for it.

I am 0.66. This means I teach 3 days and then take my PPA (0.6) at home.
