I'm going to be on capability procedures next year now, I bet.

I was asked to complete something in gained time, but couldn't, as the gained time was taken off me. Manager made some very barbed comments and I raised this in (I hope) a fair and polite manner.

I think my card will be marked.

Ahh gained time is a carrot dangled to be taken away!! Don't worry, I'm in a similar position. Was asked to complete a SOW in my gained time but so far have been used for cover in all my gained slots!! I'm not going to bust a gut to get it done, I leave the school at the end of term so don't really give a flying

This is ridiculous. Nobody should be made to feel this afraid of pointing out that the time they were meant to use for a task got taken away from them. Is this really what it's like in some schools?

Rose, that doesn't sound normal. Are you happy at that school overall? Sounds like time for a change.
