I rarely get to the end of any interaction without being told to fuck off! Doesn't bother me. Tears, on the other hand, drive me crazy!

And I agree - tears are far worse than being told to fuck off! Amazingly I made it through the day with neither! And got an apology for one of this week's 'fuck offs'!

Agree that tears are worse.
I have one girl who is a complete attention seeker, distracts others, does minimum work, and although bright just wastes her talents.
She is flul of bravado when she has a audience, but when kept behind she has an unfailing talent for letting er eyes well up. Irritating - and futile as I am not a male and will not be moved by obvious manipulation attempt.

I've been teaching 8 years and never yet been told to fuck off. I feel like I've missed out on an important rite of passage. I've had tears though, I hate criers. I get very impatient with them. (I mean the ones who cry when they are in trouble not the ones who get upset more generally).
We're nearly there now! I can almost taste the summer holidays.

Ditto I've had a great year. I love my job, although am now exhausted! I'm pastoral and probably get told to fuck off at least twice a week (and called various names last week which I won't repeat as they'd be too outing!!).
Seriously had enough of crying and whinging as a tactic for getting out of trouble.. and children pretending to be sick when they are not. They're my current biggest bug bears!

This academic year I was doing quite well. Then in June I was told to fuck off one week and called a twat the next. I only work part time though.

I posted this on another thread, but in the very early 80s, a student who told me to fuck off was expelled. And not line of conduct.

I s told to fuck off last week for 25 minutes without the perp appearing to pause to draw breath. Quite an achievement, really. Maybe should call the Guinness book of records or something

Echt - how things have changed! One of those who told me to fuck off last week was excluded to be fair.

I once worked in a restaurant where the chef(s) would tell me to fuck off when I'd ask about my orders. And the managers would stand by and listen. Mad! I made plenty money there so swings and roundabouts. If only you got a bonus for every fuck off!

I've been teaching 15 years, always in challenging schools yet prior to last Tuesday had only been told to fuck off once. Then Tuesday morning p1 I got 'fuck off you stupid fucking woman' and then p2 I got 'fuck off or I'm gonna punch you.' You wait for a bus for 15 years....
