Do I need to worry?

Basically, I got a job offer on 8th Feb. I have a conditional offer in writing (does not include pay grade or year group, just 'teacher').
In Feb half term I went back into the school to take completed forms- health check etc. They took copies of my ID and teaching certificates and took my photo for the staff wall.
In march I emailed the HR woman about unpaid leave for a pre-arranged family wedding in October and she said it has been approved.

Since then, I have heard nothing! I emailed the heads PA asking about transition and after a few weeks of nada I rang the school and she asked me to email the head directly so I did and have heard nothing again for over a week. I know it's a busy school (huge!) And they have other things to deal with but I'm quite anxious about the whole process of moving jobs anyway and I'm starting to doubt everything- do I actually have a job/have they changed their mind/what if I move down there and I've been misled and I'm not actually a teacher blah blah blah.

Basically I just need to know whether I should be concerned yet and at what point would you expect to be contacted about inset days/transition events ready for September?

I was offered a job in June and no one contacted me again despite numerous emails and calls to even tell me when staff were needed to start in September.
This was for a mentoring job, and the school overall were great, but it set the tone somewhat for what my line manager was like.
No real advice other than other things seem to take priority?

When we recruit teachers starting in September we always tell them things will go a bit quiet but not to worry etc.

We haven't decided on year groups for next year yet so nothing to tell about transition, although you would definitely have had a reply.

Can't do DBS yet, as it has to be done no more than x weeks (I forget) before you start and can't give you a contract until all checks are done. Offer letter should have stated salary though.

Our head would be aware of your situation and keeping in touch to set you at ease but I guess that's harder in a big school and maybe some just don't see the need.

Thank you both. I know rationally that they probably won't know/have decided on a lot of things yet and it's a bit soon- but the complete silence (no 'sorry we don't know yet' email) has made me nervous!

The school is also converting to a MAT and sponsoring another school from September so there's loads going on. I think I need to just be patient (not a strength of mine).

They definitely can't rescind my job offer can they? I know my reference was good and my checks will all come back fine.
