Job Application Person Specification​

Applying for jobs for the first time in a few years; I've been trying to write the personal statement bit so that it explains really clearly how I meet their expectations from the person spec, however there are sections where I'm a bit stumped as to if I should try and cover it e.g. "Hardworking, friendly and approachable" and if so how I'd do it without sounding a bit odd?

Can you give an example of how That Patent eventually decided that you were great after all?

That's a pretty vague & pointless spec though isn't it?!

I know, to be fair maybe they're thinking they'll judge at interview but it doesn't say how each point will be assessed like some do so wanted to cover all my bases. I've put in about a parent coming to me with a problem so hopefully that will do!
