The holidays have arrived :-)

So pleased to finally have the Easter holidays after such a long and hard term!

Getting into exam season now so next term will also be tough but I am pleased to have the chance to relax and do something for me/home for a change!

Nothing major planned but time with DH and DS.

Anyone got anything nice planned?

One week to go, and learning walks all week.

So looking forward to the holidays, I'm dead on my feet.

We have observations when we get back

One more week after I would class as the worst week in my 14 year teaching career (covered in blood one day, SLT saying no to every enterprise idea my yr 11 class have been come up with to pass their course the next day then being physically pushed whilst undertaking a directed duty another day) - it can not come soon enough

It's a double celebration for me . Howls and one more term till I am done with teaching.

Pumpkin.....a week left and an observation!

I want to tell you to Fotfs etc but I know I will be on holiday when you are back working. It has been a very long term, I'm still waiting for an observation that should have been done 12 weeks ago Tiny. I hope this is because I am not seen as a priority case.

I've lost 9D, if anybody remembers my little shits darlings.

Their old form tutor is back. 9D are most miffed. They did a card for me and everything

Another week for me too.

DD officially finished today for three weeks. But she's been in Madrid since Wednesday and there til next Wednesday (her birthday) - so a bit of a cross over.

Cant wait til the holidays!

I've got a week to go with school musical on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, training after school followed by parents' evening on Thursday, giving and receiving Learning Walks, a trip on Wednesday, and all of my Year 11 coursework - which was handed in today bar 2 students - to be marked and moderated by first thing Thursday.

Saturday, 8th April will be spent sleeping

Typically I've got the usual end of term virus so start the holiday ill.

Thanks Locked - sounds like she is. Will be strange her not being her on the morning of her birthday though - least she comes home that day and we see her in the evening.

Not sure what we have on next week - an Eco Day one day next week, bit luckily no observations or learning walks planned.

The children seem very much in need of a break as much as the staff. We've had so much illness this term!
