I have a job interview on Tuesday and I need to deliver a 15 minute microteach.

I haven't taught for nearly three years and the last microteach I did was a decade ago.

My brain has gone completely blank for ideas.

Please help me with tales of your impressive and engaging microteach subjects...

The role is around functional skills and employability. Doesn't have to be subject specific but feel I need to have a slight angle towards either literacy or numeracy.

TIA

Numeracy. Calculating percentages and equivalent decimals and fractions. Use a table with gaps in. Relates to real life. Hope that help.

What age? For literacy maybe prepare a poor letter of application/CV and get them to find the errors followed by a discussion of why it is important.
Numeracy you could do VAT - prepare a stock list of VAT and non VAT goods and develop percentage calculations

It's adults. But adults doing E3 or L1 FS. The CV idea is a good one
