New job, teaching for 22 years, I'm sinking and feel that now 'it's not good enough? so sack me. I'm sick of this. Perhaps I should go before I'm pushed

Are you still up? Want to ay any more about it? Don't want you to go to sleep on a Sunday feeling like this.

PamplemousseRouge · 28/11/2016 21:50

Harvest how are you feeling today? Hope you're okay xxx

Thanks to you both for picking up on this. Feel a lot more rational today. It's such a difficult job and I need to make a decision rather than becoming overwhelmed.

Again, thanks for commenting. Star

Flowers for you, Harvest.

Are you in a new school, or a new job in your existing school? I am sure that you are good enough.

What makes you think you will be pushed?

I am also feeling utterly overwhelmed at the moment. Roll on Christmas!

New job. Not the timetable I signed up for so not teaching my subject area. It's a sharp learning curve. Can be rational about realistic expectations but as you know, if children behaviour not as should then management start to make enquiries. Managing the process but still feel under much pressure to get it sorted.
