Training

I'm currently the cover supervisor (I cover PPA most afternoons) and as well as behaviour mentor and TA in a mornings in year 5.
The new head, first of all wants me to stop TAing (she is advertising for a replacement) and then wants me to undertake some training for my role as behaviour mentor so I can work with those children who are struggling.
Has anyone any suggestions of courses that could be useful?

ELSA is available in some areas. Not in mine unfortunately and it was cancelled in the next county so I haven't done it but it looks good. Otherwise ask at your local PRU unit as there maybe something you can attend.
The only other thing is Nurture training but that covers a lot of other difficulties as well.
