Interested to know if any teachers have successfully managed this? -Have had a look around N.I websites but things like pay scales aren't as forthcoming -are they comparable to England?

All I know is that it is a extremely difficult to get a permanent teaching job in N Ireland. Their is very little movement and a lot of jobs are temporary.

N Ireland is on the old pay scale system- same as England before performance related pay.

Pud is right- getting a job is very difficult- tons of applications for every job. Unless of course you teach physics or maths.

I teach in a secondary school in N I and taught in primary for 4 years. Any questions feel free to ask Smile
