You try to get everyone up at 6.45 only to be told by dd aged 11 that it is a Sunday. Conversely on holiday you finish lunch at around 2.45 and think it is the start of the afternoon not the end of the teaching day. what are your tell tale end of term signs?

TheTroubleWithAngels Are you back on 10th August for IGCSE results? (I know the general release date for grades to candidates is the 12th). I've got to go in for those and am not sure which day(s) I'll be needed. Do schools receive the grades on the 10th?

3 more days. I have the number of days left written on the whiteboard in class and we take great joy at the end of the day rubbing it off and writing a new number.

We have a mixture of bits to finish for our last topic and are keeping some things going right til the bitter end for some version of routine. And add to that rehearsals for the leavers' service and the service itself. As well as a few goodbye things for the retiring head teacher. Some sorting of things that the children can do (emptying trays etc) and a few mini challenges to keep them engaged in the gaps in between everything else.

Can't wait til Wed 3pm!

The skip is full. The site manager won't give you any more bin bags...

... while you have 3 more cupboards to get through!

Third glass of wine already and I filled all of my recycling sacks.
